WilmerHale’s Appellate & Supreme Court Litigation and Intellectual Property Litigation practice groups, which are consistently highly ranked for their experience and talent, have a total of nine appellate arguments slated for the first ten days of November. WilmerHale attorneys in the Washington DC, New York and Boston offices will argue in five different courts, including the US Supreme Court, the Federal Circuit, the Second Circuit, the Third Circuit, and the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces. Five of these arguments will take place over a three day period in the Federal Circuit.

The cases cover a breadth of issues, including a Coast Guard court martial; a novel bankruptcy issue in the Supreme Court; a complex fraudulent conveyance dispute; a dispute over what duties are owed by a primary insurer to an excess insurer; and various patent appeals including: disputes over damages, fees, and sanctions, an international trade dispute over GPS technology, interference claims involving genetically engineered proteins, and infringement claims involving medical device patents.
