In an article published in Law360, Partners Paul Connell and Swain Wood and Associate Jessica Shelnutt discuss how Republican and Democrat attorneys general are gearing up for President Donald Trump’s second term.
Excerpt: “Regardless of the areas that individual Democratic attorneys general choose to pursue, they are likely to partner with fellow attorneys general through a coordinated multistate litigation strategy, thus allowing them to select friendly district court venues when seeking injunctive relief on an emergency basis. While this is now a well-worn tactic, multistate litigation offers the attorneys general the ability to take a coordinated approach and share resources, which will be important considering the Democrats face a unified Republican-controlled Congress and White House, and a US Supreme Court leery of the administrative state.”
