The firm secured antitrust clearance from the U.S. Federal Trade Commission, the German Bundeskartellamt, and in working with local counsel, the Finnish Competition Authority for Powerwave Technologies, Inc.'s acquisition of the Wireless Systems business unit of its competitor REMEC, Inc. Both companies manufacture and sell mobile telephone network components on a worldwide basis.
