The Daily Journal has selected Partner Heather Nyong'o to its 2014 list of California’s “Top Women Lawyers,” an annual list compiled to honor and profile exceptional women lawyers who are leading the industry.
The Daily Journal recognized Nyong'o for her recent move to WilmerHale from the Department of Justice and her significant involvement serving as one of the lead trial lawyers in a case involving price-fixing in the liquid crystal industry, which resulted in a record fine. The case also marked the first-ever imposition of a corporate compliance monitor in a contested sentencing.
Nyong'o is a partner in the firm’s Regulatory and Government Affairs Department and is a member of the Antitrust and Competition Practice. Her practice focuses on complex criminal antitrust investigations and litigation, as well as government investigations.
