For the second consecutive year, WilmerHale’s Washington DC office has been recognized among the region’s Top Workplaces by The Washington Post. A total of 150 companies were honored on one of three lists based on headcount: large, midsize and small workplaces. One of only five law firms listed and the only law firm listed within the large workplace category, WilmerHale ranked eighth out of a total of 25 companies.
The firm’s Washington DC office, with nearly 700 employees, including more than 400 attorneys, is one of the largest in the metropolitan area and the largest office within the firm. Over the past four decades, the firm has acquired detailed knowledge of how the nation’s capital works and possesses a broad range of skills necessary for solving local legal issues including regulatory experience, policy advocacy, litigation, and the drafting and negotiation of agreements.
The Top Workplace ranking is based solely on an employee survey measuring feedback on local and overall leadership, compensation and training, and workplace flexibility and diversity.
“In order to best serve our clients, we’ve built a culture that supports high-quality work, recognizes the benefits of a diverse workplace, and invests in individuals so they continue to learn and grow,” said Robert Dunne, WilmerHale’s Chief Human Resources Officer. “Employee satisfaction speaks for itself and we are honored to again be distinguished by The Washington Post.”
All honorees gathered for an awards event on June 18 at The Washington Post headquarters in Washington DC.
