President Obama Nominates Ronald Machen for US Attorney
Ronald previously served in the US Attorney's Office as an Assistant United States Attorney from 1997 to 2001, when he rejoined the firm. He has helped lead the firm's white collar, litigation and internal investigation practices, handling numerous difficult and challenging high profile matters. Ron will remain with WilmerHale while awaiting confirmation by the US Senate.
The White House press release announcing the nomination of seven men and women to become US attorneys was released today. "These men and women have not only the legal experience and aptitude, but the commitment to public service to make exemplary United States Attorneys," said President Obama. "I am honored to nominate them and look forward to their continued service on behalf of the American people."
