WilmerHale Partner Andrea Jeffries is one of only 26 individuals selected as California’s Most Powerful and Influential Women by the National Diversity Council.
Nominated for her tremendous strategic judgment and breadth of knowledge of the law, as well as her adeptness in advising clients and working with lawyers at all levels of practice, Jeffries was recognized by the Diversity Council for achieving an outstanding reputation in the patent litigation community while helping to expand WilmerHale’s Los Angeles presence. Jeffries was also recognized for her leading role outside of the courtroom as an active member in numerous organizations, such as the Los Angeles Women's Leadership Initiative, and the Patent Damages & Remedies Working Group Committee of the Sedona Conference.
Jeffries and her fellow awardees will be honored at the Third Annual California Diversity and Leadership Conference on Thursday, February 2 and Friday, February 3, 2012 at the University of California, Berkeley. The event will theme, “Deconstructing the California Glass Ceiling,” which will focus on imperative leadership skills and upward mobility.
The California Diversity Council (CADC) is a non-profit organization under the National Diversity Council umbrella that champions diversity and inclusion throughout California’s academia, businesses and communities. The CADC creates a platform for discourse and collaboration around common inclusion issues and provides education, development, and community building opportunities for all Californians.
