This marks the fourth consecutive year that Palo Alto-based Partners Mark Flanagan and Mark Selwyn have been named to the Daily Journal’s annual list of the leading IP litigators in California. The list identifies those lawyers in California who have had an exceptional impact on intellectual property law and the development of law in this area.
The Daily Journal feature, published April 6, 2011, describes Flanagan as a “veteran patent litigator with experience in courts and arbitration tribunals all over the world.” Last year was a significant year for Flanagan, with major victories for Grace Semiconductor Manufacturing in a case before the US International Trade Commission (ITC); and in a case in Hong Kong involving trade-secret theft allegations made by a private equity investor in a Chinese Internet advertising company.
Selwyn, partner-in-charge of the Palo Alto office and co-chair of the firm’s IP Litigation Group, was also recognized for having a stellar 2010. Selwyn had leading roles in a series of significant patent cases on behalf of major Silicon Valley clients.
