The Recorder has selected Partner Andrea Weiss Jeffries to its 2013 list of California’s “Women Leaders in Tech Law,” an annual list that honors 50 authoritative women who have contributed to the practice, business and advancement of legal issues throughout the previous year. This year’s awards celebrate women attorneys who are handling game-changing, market-moving work in and around the technology sector.
Jeffries, a partner in the firm’s Litigation/Controversy Department and a member of the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group, was recognized for her career as a patent litigator handling complex matters involving DNA sequencing, computer memory, multi-threaded software, database technology and pharmaceutical formulations.
As quoted by The Recorder, “I enjoy the high energy and creativity of the high-tech world,” said Jeffries. “It is stimulating and makes a day out of the office working with clients very, very fun.”
