WilmerHale has ranked fifth in Global Investigations Review’s annual GIR 30 list, which features the best law firms for complex multijurisdictional corporate investigations. This year marks the tenth consecutive year the firm has been ranked among the top five on the list.
The ranking is informed by the investigations, resolutions and related trials that a law firm has worked on during the research period. GIR measures firms on their “institutional strengths based on a range of factors – including a firm’s reach, its caseload, appearances before government authorities and more.”
The publication noted that “WilmerHale's investigations practice is typically a front-runner for instructions in the biggest FCPA cases. But the firm’s investigations expertise isn’t limited to foreign bribery matters; it has lawyers in the US and Europe who have experience working on almost every kind of financial crime investigation.”
The winners were announced during the annual GIR Awards event on November 14.
