Partner Ronald Machen, Chair of the Litigation/Controversy Department, and Partner Lauren Moore were named to Savoy Magazine’s 2024 list of the “Most Influential Lawyers.” The list, which was first published in 2018, includes “a powerhouse roster whose legal prowess and commitment to excellence inspire the highest levels of corporate and legal leadership.”

Ronald Machen is one of the nation's leading trial and white-collar defense lawyers. Machen is an experienced litigator who has tried more than 35 cases to verdict, whose practice focuses on government enforcement, corporate and congressional investigations, and litigating civil business disputes. Machen is also an active member of The Council on Foreign Relations and Diversity Law Institute, an international nonprofit dedicated to diversifying the legal profession and justice system.

Lauren Moore provides strategic counsel on public policy issues, government enforcement, congressional investigations, and civil rights matters. She advises clients as they navigate issues that present legal, business, political, and public relations risks. Moore rejoined WilmerHale after serving in the Office of the White House Counsel. Before that, she served as General Counsel to then-Senator Kamala Harris on the US Senate Judiciary Committee.
