WilmerHale Recognized in NVLSP’s 2023 Pro Bono Report

Firm News

WilmerHale has long been committed to pro bono representation of military veterans, from combat-related special compensation (CRSC) applications to discharge upgrades. Last week, we were proud to see this commitment recognized by our partners at the National Veterans Legal Services Program (NVLSP). Their 2023 Pro Bono Report celebrates a successful CRSC appeal by Michael Bongiorno and Lauren Lifland, the successful appeal of a benefits denial by Alan Schoenfeld and Anna Mizzi, and WilmerHale’s partnership with Bank of America to host a discharge upgrade clinic – as well as nearly 40 other matters in which more than 110 WilmerHale attorneys represented veterans referred by NVLSP.  We are grateful to NVLSP for providing us with opportunities to serve those who have so bravely served our country.
