Chambers and Partners honored Counsel Laura Powell as the DEI Future Leader in its Chambers USA Awards 2024. The diversity and inclusion categories of the annual awards program recognize the DEI and pro bono impact and contributions of law firms and private practice lawyers, as well as in-house counsel and departments. According to the organization, honorees further the advancement of diversity, inclusion, pro bono and sustainability across the US.

Powell has demonstrated leadership in pro bono and advocacy work for Native American rights on behalf of the Native American and Indigenous Peoples. She advocates energetically for those rights both outside and within WilmerHale, echoing the firm’s unwavering commitment to the pursuit of equal justice.

WilmerHale was also recognized by Chambers USA as Intellectual Property Law Firm of the Year.
