Chambers and Partners announced that WilmerHale has been shortlisted in three diversity and inclusion categories for the 2024 Chambers USA Awards. The annual award program recognizes the DEI and pro bono impact and contributions of law firms and private practice lawyers, as well as in-house counsel and departments. According to the publication, honorees further the advancement of diversity, inclusion, pro bono and sustainability across the US.
WilmerHale is a finalist for the Pro Bono: Outstanding Firm Award, which reflects the firm’s steadfast commitment to pro bono representation and public service. Individually, Partner George Varghese has been shortlisted for Pro Bono: Lawyer of the Year and Counsel Laura Powell is a finalist in the Diversity & Inclusion: Future Leader category.
WilmerHale and the other honorees will be recognized during the Chambers USA Awards ceremony, which will be held virtually on June 13.
