WilmerHale Advises Spectris in $525M Deal to Sell Omega Unit to Private Equity Firm

On April 19, 2022, Spectris PLC, a supplier providing high-tech instruments, test equipment and software for many of the world's most technically demanding industrial applications, agreed to sell Omega Engineering, its US process measurement and control business, to private equity firm Arcline Investment Management for $525 million in cash. Arcline plans to combine Omega Engineering with Dwyer Group, a sensor maker Arcline acquired in 2021. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2022.
