WilmerHale received a 100 percent rating in the 2021 Corporate Equality Index (CEI) for the 13th consecutive year. The Human Rights Campaign Foundation (HRC) conducts the annual survey to rate companies and law firms on their policies regarding lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) workplace equality.

The CEI has been assessing corporate practices related to LGBTQ inclusivity since 2002. Companies and law firms are rated based on four criteria: workforce protections, culture and social responsibility, inclusive benefits and responsible citizenship. Top-rated CEI employers must demonstrate a commitment to implementing and enforcing substantial policies, benefits and practices that promote greater equity for LGBTQ employees. 

WilmerHale’s efforts to ensure an inclusive workplace satisfied all the survey’s criteria and earned a perfect score, extending the firm’s longstanding designation as a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality.
