Tiffany J. Smith has been honored as a 2020 recipient of The National Bar Association’s (NBA) “40 Under 40 – Nation’s Best Advocates” award, which recognizes the nation's top lawyers under 40 who exemplify a broad range of high achievement, including in advocacy, innovation, vision, leadership and overall legal and community involvement.
Smith is a New York-based securities partner with over a decade of experience representing some of the largest securities firms on the most complicated issues. A key aspect of Smith’s practice is advising clients on the application of the federal securities laws to new technologies.
Smith is recognized for her leadership efforts at the firm, where she currently serves on several committees, including: Hiring and Recruiting, Pro Bono and Community Service as well as the firmwide Executive Diversity and New York office Diversity committees. Outside of the firm, Smith is involved in various diversity-related organizations and initiatives. She often mentors and provides advice to law students and junior attorneys about excelling in the practice of law or in the securities- and technology-related industries.
Smith and her fellow recipients of this year’s “40 Under 40” awards were honored in a virtual gala hosted by the NBA on July 25, 2020.
