Monica Grewal, a Boston–based partner, was named a 2019 Top Woman in Law by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. This recognition honors women attorneys who have made professional strides and demonstrated accomplishments in pro bono, social justice, advocacy and business.

Ms. Grewal’s profile features her unique experience as an engineer for the U.S. space program, which she leverages in her legal career handling IP matters within the disciplines of electrical, mechanical, biomedical devices and computer engineering. The profile also highlights her leadership experience co-chairing the firm’s Boston diversity committee and being involved in the Women’s Leadership Initiative. Outside of the firm, Ms. Grewal has served as a founding director of the Patent Trial and Appeal Board Bar Association and president of the Board of Governors of the Boston Patent Law Association.
