WilmerHale Named Top Workplace by the Bay Area News for Sixth Consecutive Year

Recognition

WilmerHale’s Palo Alto office has been named a “Top Workplace” for 2019 by Bay Area News. This recognition is based solely on anonymous employee feedback from a workplace survey administered by Energage, LLC, a leading research firm that specializes in organizational health and workplace improvement. Various aspects including local and overall company leadership, diversity and inclusion, company values, work flexibility and career development were among the few factors that the employee engagement survey measured.

This marks the sixth consecutive year WilmerHale’s Palo Alto office has been recognized by Bay Area News. Currently, WilmerHale’s Palo Alto office seats over 100 regional employees, more than 65 of whom are attorneys who practice in a wide range of practice areas, including litigation, corporate, securities, intellectual property, technology licensing and fund formation. Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, the Palo Alto office represents the types of clients who are at the forefront of innovation.

This year, a total of 85 companies and organizations were recognized as a “Top Workplace” in three categories based on size: large, medium and small. The firm ranked 15th out of a total of 45 small companies and was the only law firm listed in its category. According to the Bay Area News: “To meet the Top Workplaces standard, your employees must believe in where your organization is headed, how it will get there, and the feeling that everyone is in this together.”
