WilmerHale was again ranked by Law360 near the top of the nation’s largest law firms in the publication’s annual ranking of where women are making the most progress in the legal industry.
Law360 ranked the firm fourth out of 10 firms with 600 or more lawyers that made the final cut in its 2018 Glass Ceiling Report. To create its ranking, the publication only included firms with average-to-above female representation at any level of the firm. Those firms were “ranked by the percentage of female non-partners and female partners at the firm,” Law360 said.
WilmerHale’s percentage of women equity partners at 25 percent was better than the industry average of 20 percent. WilmerHale’s non-partner average of 50.8 percent also exceeded the industry average of not quite 45 percent, according to the Law360 story about the rankings.
“… The firms on this list are proving that gender diversity pledges can move toward becoming workforce realities,” Law360 said about its rankings.
WilmerHale first appeared in the Law360 rankings in 2016. The law firm has been in the top half of the 10 firms on Law360’s large-firm leader board for the last two out of three years.
