WilmerHale and GAI Insights presents “Own Your Own (AI) Intelligence.” In the age of digital transformation, data and artificial intelligence (AI) are the key drivers of innovation and value creation. However, data and AI also pose significant challenges and risks for businesses, such as privacy, security, ethics and regulation. How can businesses harness the power of data and AI while ensuring their ownership and control over their own intelligence?
Topics will include:
- Importance of Owning Your Own Intelligence (OYOI): OYOI is crucial for data privacy, security and ethical control, allowing firms to tailor AI models to specific needs and maintain competitive advantage by safeguarding intellectual property and reducing dependency on large tech companies.
- Benefits of OYOI: OYOI enhances decision-making, accelerates innovation, ensures compliance with regulations and helps in long-term value creation by maintaining control over cognitive assets.
- Risks Associated with OYOI: Implementing OYOI involves increased costs, infrastructure and talent investment, along with the burden of innovation, maintenance, updates and compliance.
- Best Practices and Guidance: Effective OYOI strategies include data protection, intellectual property management, legal compliance and a systematic approach to assessing, piloting and scaling AI initiatives.
