ABA’s 39th National Institute on White Collar Crime will be taking place March 6–8, 2024, in San Francisco and will give attendees the opportunity to hear from some of the top members of the white-collar bar in the United States and abroad and connect with colleagues from across the industry.
WilmerHale Partner Ronald Machen will be serving on the panel, “Advances in False Claims Act and Whistleblower Practice” on Wednesday, March 6 at 3:20-4:30 PM PST. Mr. Machen will serve as a panelist alongside Margaret J. Finnerty of Getnick Law LLP; Michael Granston of the United States Department of Justice; Dan Gitner of the Southern District of New York; and Giselle J. Joffre of Arnold & Porter. The panel will be moderated by Preston L. Pugh of Crowell & Moring. The panel will discuss the important changes 2023 brought to the False Claims Act landscape, with recent Supreme Court decisions.
