Third Parties in International Arbitration
Mumbai, IndiaArbitrations often may involve more than the parties to the dispute. Third parties may be connected to the dispute or possess evidence relating to the dispute. Third parties who are not signatories to arbitration agreements may nonetheless be able to rely on them and may be found to be bound by them. Several complex issues concerning the role of third parties continue to frequently arise in international arbitration. This session will see members of both firms discuss these issues and draw on their experience to discuss some best practices.
