WilmerHale will co-host the second annual Post-Grant Practice Roundtable Discussion. Patent field leaders from academia, industry and government will discuss the post-grant practice at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board and how post-grant proceedings continue to change the practice of patent law.

The half-day program will explore current issues with US post-grant review from before the US Patent and Trademark Office, district courts, and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Discussions will cover recent important decisions, such as Cuozzo Speed Technologies, LLC v. Lee, as well as the types of cases being filed, and more. It will also highlight particular aspects of the practice that are working well, and will feature a thoughtful discussion of suggested improvements in certain areas of the process.
