On December 13, 2023, the SEC voted (4-1) to adopt Standards for Covered Clearing Agencies for US Treasury Securities that will restructure the clearance and settlement of secondary market transactions involving the purchase and sale of US Treasuries and repurchase agreements and reverse repurchase agreements of US Treasuries.
