Stephanie Evans Recognized Among Diversity Journal's Women Worth Watching

Firm News

Diversity Journal has recognized Partner Stephanie Evans to its 13th annual list of Women Worth Watching, which honors executive trailblazers for their passion, potential and positive influence both inside and outside the workplace. The special edition provides leading women the opportunity to speak out and provide advice and inspiration to other women, specifically those who are starting off their careers.

"Each year, we have been humbled by the achievement of the women we profile and inspired by the message they send to the next generation of achievers," said Diversity Journal Founder, CEO and Publisher James Rector. "We have been extremely encouraged by the number of organizations in every sector that support the career advancement of the women in their workplaces and are proud to provide an award with such meaningful impact on the movement of gender equality in workforce leadership."

Among Evans's advice, she discusses how to find success and stay competitive, and the importance of role models and mentors. As stated by Evans, "to succeed in the legal market, or really in any profession, it is important to be a self-advocate and to establish a personal brand. My advice is to stay strong and step outside your comfort zone. The more you put yourself out there-sharing ideas, asking questions, attending events, or getting involved in projects that you would not normally choose-the more you stand out from the rest."

Evans is a partner in WilmerHale's Transactional and Regulatory and Government Affairs Departments and is the vice chair of the Corporate Practice. She advises domestic and international clients on a  wide range of corporate transactions, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic alliances.
